Vacancy Announcement: Donor Engagement and Resource Mobilization Specialist

About Welthungerhilfe (WHH):
Welthungerhilfe (WHH), established in 1962 under the FAO (UN Food and Agriculture Organisation), began as the German branch of the "Freedom from Hunger Campaign"—a pioneering global initiative to combat hunger. Today, WHH stands as one of Germany’s premier non-governmental organisations, operating with a dual mandate of development cooperation and emergency response.

As a non-profit, non-denominational, and politically independent organisation, WHH envisions a world where every individual can lead a dignified, self-reliant life free from hunger and poverty. Partnering with over 260 national and local civil society organisations across 37 countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, WHH implemented 603 projects in 2022, benefiting 18.8 million people globally.

WHH addresses the root causes of hunger through integrated programming in agriculture, environment, WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene), economic development, climate change, and advocacy, combining innovation to maximise impact.

WHH in Nepal:
Since 2004, WHH has been operational in Nepal, actively contributing to food and nutrition security, WASH, disaster risk reduction, and civil society empowerment. Across nine districts, WHH collaborates with local partners to improve the lives of socially marginalised and economically disadvantaged groups. Programs prioritise resilience building, skill development, and green enterprise promotion, ensuring equitable access to adequate food and nutrition for all.
